History

Established in 2021, the APN Skills Acquisition Centre was founded with a passion to create an environment conducive to skill development and training for all interested individuals. Our vision and mission are to nurture lively, inquiring, and discerning individuals who will become self-reliant in various spheres of life.

Available Vocational Courses

We offer a diverse range of vocational courses, including:

• Tailoring and Fashion Designing
• Cake Making (Fondant and Pastries)
• Hairdressing and Wig Production
• Auto Servicing
• Shoemaking
• Event Planning and Management
• Plumbing Technology
• Tie and Dye Making
• Nail Artistry (Pedicure and Manicure)
• Welding and Fabrication
• IT/Web Design
• Gele Tying and Make-up Training
• Photography/Photo-editing
• Soap Making
• Bead Making

Upon successful completion of either the six-month or three-month training sessions, students are awarded certificates. Our curriculum encompasses both theoretical and practical aspects of each vocation, ensuring comprehensive skill acquisition.

Graduation Ceremony

The inaugural graduation ceremony was held in September 2021, celebrating 67 graduates across various vocations. The event was graced by esteemed guests, including the founder, the rector, and other members of the college management, as well as parents, friends, and well-wishers. Highlights of the ceremony included awards of cash and start-up equipment to the best graduating students, generously donated by various benefactors.

Announcements

Applications and admissions for six-month programs—such as Fashion Design, Cake Making, Plumbing Technology, Auto Servicing, Shoemaking, Event Management, Tie and Dye, Hairdressing and Wig Making, Photography/Photo-editing, IT/Web Design, Welding, and Fabrication—commence in January and July each year. For three-month programs, training sessions begin in January, April, July, and October. Prospective students are encouraged to obtain application forms from the Centre to qualify for the next batch.
