The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Directorate at APN Polytechnic is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the institution’s educational and administrative processes through effective deployment and management of ICT resources. Core Functions

1. Network Infrastructure Development and Management

   • Design, implement, and maintain a scalable and secure network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity across the campus.
   • Provide high-speed internet access to support academic research and administrative operations.

2. Systems Development and Administration

   • Develop and manage information systems that streamline administrative processes, including student information systems, learning management systems, and financial management systems.
   • Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility across all platforms.

3. Technical Support and Maintenance

   • Offer technical support services to faculty, staff, and students, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
   • Maintain and service ICT equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

4. ICT Training and Capacity Building

   • Organize training programs and workshops to enhance ICT proficiency among students and staff.
   • Promote the adoption of emerging technologies in teaching, learning, and administrative activities.

5. Web Development and Management

   • Develop and maintain the institution’s official website, ensuring it serves as a reliable source of information and a portal for various online services.
   • Implement webometric strategies to enhance the institution’s online presence and accessibility.

6. Policy Development and Implementation

   • Formulate ICT policies and guidelines that govern the use of technology within the institution.
   • Ensure compliance with national and international ICT standards and best practices.

Organizational Structure

The ICT Directorate is structured into the following units, each managed by a Head of Unit:
