The Alumni Relations Unit serves as a vital link between Yaba College of Technology and its graduates, fostering ongoing engagement and support. Reporting to the Registrar, the unit is responsible for the following functions:

  1. Compilation of an Up-to-Date Alumni Register: Maintaining a comprehensive and current record of all alumni, ensuring accurate contact information and professional details.

  2. Administration of Alumni Database: Overseeing the management of the alumni database, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility for engagement initiatives.

  3. Coordination of Alumni Activities: Organizing and facilitating events, reunions, and programs that encourage active participation and connection among alumni.

  4. Maintaining the Network Between the College and Its Alumni: Serving as the primary liaison to strengthen relationships, communicate developments, and encourage alumni involvement in college affairs.

  5. Coordinating Endowment Efforts: Leading fundraising initiatives and managing contributions from alumni to support the college’s endowment fund, thereby enhancing educational resources and opportunities.

  6. Complementing the College’s Endowment Efforts: Working alongside the Alumni Association to bolster the institution’s financial support through targeted campaigns and donor engagement strategies.

By effectively executing these responsibilities, the Alumni Relations Unit ensures a robust and mutually beneficial relationship between Yaba College of Technology and its alumni community.
